Free, Easy Online Application
for Legal Assistance in Minnesota

One | Two | Three

This free program lets you apply for help from Legal Aid, the Volunteer Lawyers Network, and the Volunteer Attorney Program. Participating Legal Aid programs include Anishinabe Legal Services, Central Minnesota Legal Services, Judicare of Anoka County, Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota, Legal Assistance of Dakota County, Legal Assistance of Olmsted County, Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota, Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, the Minnesota Disability Law Center, and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services.

We help low-income Minnesotans, seniors, and people with disabilities with civil legal issues. We do not help with criminal cases. If you've been charged with a crime, ask for a public defender.

This program works by asking you questions (which may take up to 30 minutes), then sending your answers to Legal Aid. After you speak with a client intake specialist, we may schedule an appointment with you, give you advice or educational materials, or we may refer you to another organization.

If you are a victim of abuse, learn about internet safety before you use this program. If you think you are in immediate danger, call 911 right away!

If your problem is urgent, or if you would rather apply by phone, do not use this interview. Call your local legal aid office instead.
